The Gwinnett County Police Foundation leadership consists of an Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Scholarships are awarded to the dependent children of active Gwinnett County Police Department employees on the basis of academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, volunteer services and financial need. They are designed to reward, encourage and assist students pursuing academic excellence and leadership. Awarded scholarships do not need to be repaid, but must be used for tuition, books, supplies or fees associated with a course. Currently, the Gwinnett County Police Foundation provides funding for five (5) scholarship awards each year in the amount of $1,000 each.

Gwinnett County Police Foundation partners include individuals and corporations who donate time and services to support our mission. Donations come in the form of event and program sponsorships as well as general donations. Thank you to our sponsors and supporters for your generosity, and for standing behind our men and women of the Gwinnett County Police Department!

The Gwinnett County Police Foundation works to support key unmet public safety needs and programs by providing direct support to the Gwinnett County Police Department. The Police Foundation engages in public safety policy initiatives of the county and it provides educational and charitable services to the community and to members of the law enforcement community.

Annual Awards Banquet - March 14, 2025‘Shining A Light On Excellence” is the theme as we celebrate our employees who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.This semi-formal dinner takes place at ‘The Water Tower” in Buford.
